I have been coming to the Birmingham Grosvenor Casino since it opened which is now well over 10 years. The staff have always been fantastic and last night my wife and I went for a meal in the restaurant as a last minute idea due our normal Michelin stared restaurants being booked due to being a last minute arrangement. All we can say is thank you. The food was out of this world and even with desert and drinks we spent 1/3rd of what we would have and enjoyed the food just as much, if not better!

I didn't stay as a guest, but I still had experience with this hotel and would like to leave a review all the same. I did work experience here earlier this month (August 2024) in various departments, as part of a training programme. Upon arrival, I was greeted by one of the lovely receptionists prior to meeting the friendly and professional Operations Manager.

The McDonald's Drive Thru is still here. In walking distance of Aston Station, but easier to get here on the no 66 bus, if you are not going in a car. There used to be a casino, but it must have closed down years ago.

Friday they checked in, she never mentioned anything to me. So I left it until the day after, she still didn't mention anything, so I asked her, did she have anything in her room?

Only one star and they’re only getting that because I can’t leave a review with out it! Absolutely appalling.. was having a lovely time in Birmingham for our wedding anniversary and hubby’s birthday. First incident, husband had chips just taken away from him with pelo explanation at the roulette wheel. When they played the footage back they said he had been overpaid that’s why the chips were just taken! No form of apology for “their” error and it killed them to explain why and it was as if they didn’t need to! Second incident was when I was playing the roulette table, a lady to my right asked the croupier where her five pound chip had gone, they said they will check their footage. Next thing I know I’m approached by a female member of staff who asked me if I was aware that I’d taken this ladies chip and I said no, she explained that they’d watched me do it!
